Brief:
Easy t' build kit with plastic nose cone, die-cut balsa fins, me bucko, and 12" parachute.
Construction:
This kit was easy t' build. Begad! T' instructions were easy t' follow. Avast, ya bilge rat, me proud beauty! No special tools were needed. Just glue, a hobby knife, matey, a ruler, me hearties, arrr, pencil and angle iron. Avast, me proud beauty! I did use a hot glue cannon for t' shock cord mount.
Finishing:
T' finishin' be simple. I just sanded, me bucko, primed and painted t' finished rocket. Begad! I painted it
t' suggested blue color.
T' Zero Gravity decal wrap was easy t' apply and looked great. Ahoy! Arrr! It be good quality vinyl like a bumper sticker. Arrr! Begad!
I would have given it a 5 if t' Custom parachute had been pre-assembled. I guess I have been spoiled by Estes parachutes.
Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5
Flight:
I flew t' rocket 3 time on A8-3 motors. I highly recommend this motor size for small fields.
T' rocket flew straight and landed close even though t' wind be blowing.
I would have tried a B6-4 if t' wind was nay as strong and if t' field be larger.
Recovery:
T' shock worked well. Avast! Well, arrr, blow me down! And dog barf worked excellent for replacin' wadding. Begad! Aye aye! All flights were
recovered close t' t' pad with no damage.
Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5
Summary:
Overall, matey, ya bilge rat, it is a great, me bucko, ya bilge rat, simple kit t' build. Ahoy! Avast! I would recommend this rocket if you are looking
for an easy t' build rocket kit that looks good and flies great.
