Brief:
Easy t' build kit with plastic nose cone, me bucko, die-cut balsa fins, me hearties, and 12" parachute.
Construction:
This kit was easy t' build. Arrr! Avast, me bucko, me proud beauty! T' instructions were easy t' follow. Begad! No special tools were needed. Aye aye! Just glue, a hobby knife, shiver me timbers, a ruler, me bucko, pencil and angle iron. I did use a hot glue cannon for t' shock cord mount.
Finishing:
T' finishin' was simple. I just sanded, me hearties, primed and painted t' finished rocket. I painted it
t' suggested blue color.
T' Zero Gravity decal wrap was easy t' apply and looked great. Well, blow me down! It be good quality vinyl like a bumper sticker. Arrr!
I would have given it a 5 if t' Custom parachute had been pre-assembled. Aye aye! I guess I have been spoiled by Estes parachutes.
Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5
Flight:
I flew t' rocket 3 time on A8-3 motors. Blimey! I highly recommend this motor size for small fields.
T' rocket flew straight and landed close even though t' wind be blowing.
I would have tried a B6-4 if t' wind be nay as strong and if t' field was larger.
Recovery:
T' shock worked well. Ahoy! And dog barf worked excellent for replacin' wadding. Arrr! All flights were
recovered close t' t' pad with no damage.
Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5
Summary:
Overall, me hearties, me hearties, it is a great, simple kit t' build. Ahoy! I would recommend this rocket if you are looking
for an easy t' build rocket kit that looks good and flies great.
