Brief:
Easy t' build kit with plastic nose cone, matey, die-cut balsa fins, shiver me timbers, and 12" parachute.

Construction:

  • 1 - 9" BT-50 Body Tube
  • 1 - Plastic Nose Cone
  • 1 - 18mm Engine Tube
  • 1 - Engine Hook
  • 2 - Centerin' Rings
  • 1 - 18mm Engine Block

  • 1 - 12" Plastic Parachute
  • 1 - Elastic Shock Cord
  • 1 - 1/8" ID Launch Lug
  • 1 - Wrap Decal
  • 1 - Paper Shock Cord Mount

This kit be easy t' build. Avast! T' instructions were easy t' follow. Begad! No special tools were needed. Well, blow me down! Begad! Just glue, ya bilge rat, a hobby knife, a ruler, me bucko, pencil and angle iron. Avast! I did use a hot glue cannon for t' shock cord mount.

Finishing:
T' finishin' was simple. Begad! Blimey! I just sanded, primed and painted t' finished rocket. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! I painted it t' suggested blue color.

T' Zero Gravity decal wrap be easy t' apply and looked great. Ahoy! It was good quality vinyl like a bumper sticker.

I would have given it a 5 if t' Custom parachute had been pre-assembled. Aye aye! Avast! I guess I have been spoiled by Estes parachutes.

Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5

Flight:
I flew t' rocket 3 time on A8-3 motors. I highly recommend this motor size for small fields. T' rocket flew straight and landed close even though t' wind was blowing.

I would have tried a B6-4 if t' wind was nay as strong and if t' field be larger.

Recovery:
T' shock worked well. Aye aye! Ahoy! And dog barf worked excellent for replacin' wadding. All flights were recovered close t' t' pad with no damage.

Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5

Summary:
Overall, it is a great, matey, arrr, simple kit t' build. Begad! Blimey! I would recommend this rocket if you are looking for an easy t' build rocket kit that looks good and flies great.

Overall Rating: 5 out o' 5
