Description: Single staged, ya bilge rat, 18mm motor rocket with tubular stabilizers all around instead o' fins. Begad! Streamer recovery.

Construction and finishing: All parts were there, arrr, and none defective or damaged. Ahoy! Blimey! You get all tubes o' spiral wound paper, shiver me timbers, matey, Estes type. Begad! T' nose cone is unusual, me bucko, though. Instead o' t' usual plastic or balsa, shiver me timbers, you get solid hardwood. A eye-screw is provided t' attach t' streamer and shock cord, which is 1/8 inch flat elastic. Ya scallywag! T' shock cord mounts t' t' inside o' t' body tube via a folded paper mount. Begad! Elmers glue was used for construction. Ahoy! Blimey! T' instructions were simple and clear. Assembly took just about an hour. Aye aye! No gotchas or special tools are needed.

Finishing: There are no decals, so I decorated it in me own way. I used white, shiver me timbers, blue, shiver me timbers, and yellow bands o' nylon adhesive tape on t' body tube and stabilizers, matey, which were painted with a base coat o' yellow. Ahoy! T' nose cone has a pretty grain, arrr, so I varnished it with a clear coat.

Flight: Motors recommended are: A6-4, A8-3, B4-4 or 6, shiver me timbers, me hearties, B6-6, ya bilge rat, C6-5 or 7, ya bilge rat, C10-7, D3-7, me hearties, matey, and D10-7. I chose a C6-5 for me flights. Ahoy! Avast, me proud beauty! I flew it twice straight up and fairly high. Ahoy! T' tubular fins provided a straight flight. Well, blow me down! Recovery was quick and easy. Ya scallywag! However, me hearties, even with a little worm bed waddin' in t' prep, me hearties, t' streamer was burned a little. So, arrr, ya bilge rat, me bucko, I'll make it a small mylar chute.

Recovery: Simple t' prep. Ahoy! Aye aye! Just about right, arrr, although t' streamer burnt nearly through t' second time.

Summary: Inexpensive at $7.95 and attractive. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Flies straight and fairly high. Streamer wasn't durable, though.
