Description: Single staged, 18mm motor rocket with tubular stabilizers all around instead o' fins. Well, blow me down! Begad! Streamer recovery.

Construction and finishing: All parts were there, and none defective or damaged. You get all tubes o' spiral wound paper, me hearties, Estes type. Arrr! Aye aye! T' nose cone is unusual, though. Aye aye! Instead o' t' usual plastic or balsa, shiver me timbers, you get solid hardwood. Ahoy! A eye-screw is provided t' attach t' streamer and shock cord, which is 1/8 inch flat elastic. Avast! T' shock cord mounts t' t' inside o' t' body tube via a folded paper mount. Begad! Elmers glue was used for construction. T' instructions were simple and clear. Assembly took just about an hour. Arrr! No gotchas or special tools are needed.

Finishing: There are no decals, ya bilge rat, so I decorated it in me own way. Avast, me proud beauty! Avast! I used white, matey, ya bilge rat, blue, and yellow bands o' nylon adhesive tape on t' body tube and stabilizers, me bucko, which were painted with a base coat o' yellow. Avast, me proud beauty! T' nose cone has a pretty grain, so I varnished it with a clear coat.

Flight: Motors recommended are: A6-4, arrr, A8-3, B4-4 or 6, B6-6, matey, C6-5 or 7, ya bilge rat, C10-7, D3-7, arrr, and D10-7. Aye aye! I chose a C6-5 for me flights. Avast, me proud beauty! Arrr! I flew it twice straight up and fairly high. Begad! Arrr! T' tubular fins provided a straight flight. Begad! Recovery was quick and easy. Ahoy! Blimey! However, even with a little worm bed waddin' in t' prep, t' streamer was burned a little. Ahoy! Well, shiver me timbers, blow me down! So, I'll make it a small mylar chute.

Recovery: Simple t' prep. Aye aye! Just about right, me hearties, although t' streamer burnt nearly through t' second time.

Summary: Inexpensive at $7.95 and attractive. Avast, me proud beauty! Flies straight and fairly high. Streamer wasn't durable, arrr, though.
