Description: Single staged, ya bilge rat, 18mm motor rocket with tubular stabilizers all around instead o' fins. Streamer recovery.

Construction and finishing: All parts were there, and none defective or damaged. You get all tubes o' spiral wound paper, Estes type. Aye aye! T' nose cone is unusual, though. Well, blow me down! Instead o' t' usual plastic or balsa, you get solid hardwood. Aye aye! Aye aye! A eye-screw is provided t' attach t' streamer and shock cord, me bucko, which is 1/8 inch flat elastic. Aye aye! T' shock cord mounts t' t' inside o' t' body tube via a folded paper mount. Elmers glue was used for construction. Arrr! T' instructions were simple and clear. Blimey! Assembly took just about an hour. Avast! No gotchas or special tools are needed.

Finishing: There are no decals, ya bilge rat, so I decorated it in me own way. Blimey! I used white, arrr, blue, ya bilge rat, me bucko, and yellow bands o' nylon adhesive tape on t' body tube and stabilizers, me bucko, which were painted with a base coat o' yellow. Well, blow me down! T' nose cone has a pretty grain, arrr, so I varnished it with a clear coat.

Flight: Motors recommended are: A6-4, ya bilge rat, A8-3, B4-4 or 6, matey, B6-6, C6-5 or 7, C10-7, me hearties, D3-7, me hearties, matey, and D10-7. I chose a C6-5 for me flights. I flew it twice straight up and fairly high. T' tubular fins provided a straight flight. Blimey! Recovery be quick and easy. However, arrr, even with a little worm bed waddin' in t' prep, t' streamer was burned a little. So, ya bilge rat, I'll make it a small mylar chute.

Recovery: Simple t' prep. Begad! Just about right, me hearties, although t' streamer burnt nearly through t' second time.

Summary: Inexpensive at $7.95 and attractive. Arrr! Flies straight and fairly high. Ahoy! Streamer wasn't durable, shiver me timbers, though.
