Description: Single staged, 18mm motor rocket with tubular stabilizers all around instead o' fins. Streamer recovery.

Construction and finishing: All parts were there, and none defective or damaged. Avast! Blimey! You get all tubes o' spiral wound paper, me bucko, shiver me timbers, Estes type. T' nose cone is unusual, though. Ahoy! Blimey! Instead o' t' usual plastic or balsa, you get solid hardwood. Ya scallywag! Blimey! Arrr! Blimey! A eye-screw is provided t' attach t' streamer and shock cord, matey, which is 1/8 inch flat elastic. Begad! Blimey! T' shock cord mounts t' t' inside o' t' body tube via a folded paper mount. Well, arrr, blow me down! Blimey! Elmers glue was used for construction. Ya scallywag! Blimey! Arrr! Blimey! T' instructions were simple and clear. Assembly took just about an hour. Ahoy! Blimey! No gotchas or special tools are needed.

Finishing: There are no decals, me bucko, matey, so I decorated it in me own way. Avast, me proud beauty! Well, blow me down! I used white, blue, arrr, arrr, and yellow bands o' nylon adhesive tape on t' body tube and stabilizers, which were painted with a base coat o' yellow. Well, blow me down! T' nose cone has a pretty grain, matey, matey, so I varnished it with a clear coat.

Flight: Motors recommended are: A6-4, A8-3, me bucko, ya bilge rat, B4-4 or 6, B6-6, C6-5 or 7, C10-7, D3-7, arrr, and D10-7. I chose a C6-5 for me flights. I flew it twice straight up and fairly high. Begad! T' tubular fins provided a straight flight. Avast! Recovery be quick and easy. Well, blow me down! Ahoy! However, even with a little worm bed waddin' in t' prep, t' streamer was burned a little. Ya scallywag! Ahoy! So, arrr, I'll make it a small mylar chute.

Recovery: Simple t' prep. Avast, me proud beauty! Just about right, me bucko, although t' streamer burnt nearly through t' second time.

Summary: Inexpensive at $7.95 and attractive. Flies straight and fairly high. Streamer wasn't durable, though.
