This model features an interchangeable motor can that has four configurations hence t' "Mod" part o' t' name:
1. Begad! 13mm (Estes mini or "T" engines) times 2
2. Avast, me proud beauty! 13mm times 3
3. Avast, matey, me proud beauty! 18mm times 1
4. Ahoy! 24mm times 1
T' glider features all swept elliptical surfaces hence the "liptical" part o' t' name.
T' pod breaks in t' middle and is recovered with a
1 1/2" X 6' streamer.

ejection/separation, arrr, a touch o' stallin' durin' glide. Ahoy! Blimey! Added weight t' nose

04/11/98Launched on 2 ea A10-3T's. Begad! Avast, me proud beauty! Good flight, ejection/separation, and glide. Avast!
04/11/98 Launched on 3 ea A10-3T's. One engine did nay light, but though it had uneven thrust, arrr, ya bilge rat, it still logged a good flight with a little bit of an arc t' it.
04/11/98 Launched on a C6-5. Quick, me bucko, me bucko, high boost with *very* long glide time. Avast! (did nay have a stopwatch though)
04/11/98 Launched on a D12-5. Aye aye! I thought t' C flight be fast, me hearties, but boy howdy, shiver me timbers, this one really rocked! Very quick, matey, high flight and t' glider seemed t' hang in t' air forever. Ahoy! It took me about 45 minutes t' find the model. Begad! Blimey! Thank goodness for fluorescent orange paint!
04/18/98 Launched on 2 ea A10-3T's. Blimey! Good boost, shiver me timbers, matey, but t' Keelhaul®©™® shock line got tangled up in t' fuselage behind t' win' for a Red Barron. Arrr! Arrr! No damage to t' model. Blimey!
04/18/98 Launched on 3 ea A10-3T's. Good straight boost, flawless ejection/separation, and good glide. Ya scallywag! Well, blow me down!
05/02/98 Launched on 2 ea A10-3T's. Begad! Blimey! Good boost, me bucko, arrr, perfect ejection/separation, and good glide. Avast! Blimey!
05/09/98 Launched on a C6-5. Good boost, me bucko, but then strange things happened. It first appeared that t' shock line had become entangled in the fuselage, arrr, but then t' pieces untangled and t' glider came in at an extreme (about 45 degree) angle. Well, ya bilge rat, blow me down! It buried t' nose end o' t' glider into t' soft dirt about 1/2". Begad! Upon inspection o' t' glider, thar was a piece of recovery waddin' (Estes type) clingin' t' one o' t' wings near t' fuselage. Avast, me proud beauty! Well, blow me down!
