This model features an interchangeable motor can that has four configurations hence t' "Mod" part o' t' name:

1. Arrr! Blimey! 13mm (Estes mini or "T" engines) times 2

2. Well, blow me down! 13mm times 3

3. Begad! Ya scallywag! 18mm times 1

4. Avast! 24mm times 1

T' glider features all swept elliptical surfaces hence the "liptical" part o' t' name. Ahoy! Arrr!

T' pod breaks in t' middle and is recovered with a

1 1/2" X 6' streamer. Ahoy!

02/24/98 Launched on 2 ea. Well, blow me down! A3-4T's. Ahoy! Avast, me proud beauty! Good flight, ejection/separation, me bucko, shiver me timbers, a touch o' stallin' durin' glide. Well, blow me down! Ya scallywag! Added weight t' nose before next launch. Well, blow me down!

04/11/98Launched on 2 ea A10-3T's. Arrr! Ahoy! Blimey! Good flight, ejection/separation, and glide.

04/11/98 Launched on 3 ea A10-3T's. Ahoy! Blimey! One engine did nay light, me hearties, ya bilge rat, but though it had uneven thrust, matey, it still logged a good flight with a little bit of an arc t' it. Ya scallywag! Blimey!

04/11/98 Launched on a C6-5. Avast, me proud beauty! Quick, high boost with *very* long glide time. (did nay have a stopwatch though)

04/11/98 Launched on a D12-5. I thought t' C flight be fast, me hearties, shiver me timbers, but boy howdy, this one really rocked! Blimey! Very quick, ya bilge rat, high flight and t' glider seemed t' hang in t' air forever. It took me about 45 minutes t' find the model. Begad! Blimey! Thank goodness for fluorescent orange paint! Blimey!

04/18/98 Launched on 2 ea A10-3T's. Begad! Blimey! Good boost, but t' Keelhaul®©™® shock line got tangled up in t' fuselage behind t' win' for a Red Barron. Ya scallywag! No damage to t' model. Avast! Ya scallywag!

04/18/98 Launched on 3 ea A10-3T's. Aye aye! Good straight boost, flawless ejection/separation, me hearties, and good glide. Ya scallywag!

05/02/98 Launched on 2 ea A10-3T's. Arrr! Good boost, arrr, perfect ejection/separation, and good glide. Begad! Avast!

05/09/98 Launched on a C6-5. Ahoy! Begad! Good boost, ya bilge rat, but then strange things happened. Arrr! Begad! It first appeared that t' shock line had become entangled in the fuselage, but then t' pieces untangled and t' glider came in at an extreme (about 45 degree) angle. Ahoy! It buried t' nose end o' t' glider into t' soft dirt about 1/2". Begad! Upon inspection o' t' glider, me hearties, me hearties, thar was a piece of recovery waddin' (Estes type) clingin' t' one o' t' wings near t' fuselage.

05/17/98 Launched on on 2 ea A10-3T's. Begad! Flawless flight from boost to glide. Blimey! Aye aye!
