This model features an interchangeable motor can that has four configurations hence t' "Mod" part o' t' name:

1. Avast, matey, me proud beauty! Blimey! 13mm (Estes mini or "T" engines) times 2

2. Ya scallywag! Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! 13mm times 3

3. Avast! Aye aye! Blimey! 18mm times 1

4. 24mm times 1

T' glider features all swept elliptical surfaces hence the "liptical" part o' t' name. Blimey!

T' pod breaks in t' middle and is recovered with a

1 1/2" X 6' streamer.

[Rocket Pic02/24/98 Launched on 2 ea. Ahoy! A3-4T's. Good flight, ejection/separation, a touch o' stallin' durin' glide. Added weight t' nose before next launch. Aye aye!

04/11/98Launched on 2 ea A10-3T's. Avast! Good flight, ejection/separation, and glide. Blimey!

04/11/98 Launched on 3 ea A10-3T's. One engine did nay light, but though it had uneven thrust, it still logged a good flight with a little bit of an arc t' it. Blimey!

04/11/98 Launched on a C6-5. Quick, high boost with *very* long glide time. Ahoy! (did nay have a stopwatch though)

04/11/98 Launched on a D12-5. Arrr! Blimey! Aye aye! Blimey! I thought t' C flight was fast, but boy howdy, me hearties, this one really rocked! Blimey! Very quick, me bucko, me hearties, high flight and t' glider seemed t' hang in t' air forever. Begad! Blimey! It took me about 45 minutes t' find the model. Thank goodness for fluorescent orange paint! Blimey!

04/18/98 Launched on 2 ea A10-3T's. Arrr! Blimey! Avast! Blimey! Good boost, but t' Keelhaul®©™® shock line got tangled up in t' fuselage behind t' win' for a Red Barron. Blimey! Aye aye! No damage to t' model. Blimey!

04/18/98 Launched on 3 ea A10-3T's. Aye aye! Good straight boost, flawless ejection/separation, shiver me timbers, me bucko, me bucko, and good glide.

05/02/98 Launched on 2 ea A10-3T's. Ahoy! Blimey! Good boost, me bucko, perfect ejection/separation, shiver me timbers, and good glide. Arrr! Blimey!

05/09/98 Launched on a C6-5. Begad! Good boost, but then strange things happened. Aye aye! Avast! It first appeared that t' shock line had become entangled in the fuselage, matey, but then t' pieces untangled and t' glider came in at an extreme (about 45 degree) angle. It buried t' nose end o' t' glider into t' soft dirt about 1/2". Upon inspection o' t' glider, thar was a piece of recovery waddin' (Estes type) clingin' t' one o' t' wings near t' fuselage. Avast! Begad!

05/17/98 Launched on on 2 ea A10-3T's. Avast, me proud beauty! Flawless flight from boost to glide. Ya scallywag!
