Brief:
This is your basic high power rocket. It would be great for L1 or L2 certification attempts.
Construction:
It came with a 36 inch body tube and an 18 inch payload bay, matey, t' fins are 1/8" Baltic birch, t' centerin' rings are fiberboard but once you have a layer o' 15 minute epoxy on thar good and strong, me bucko, t' motor tube be a 38mm and t' parachute is an orange 36 inch parachute.
T' way t' instructions tell you t' assemble t' motor mount wouldn't work so I set t' instructions aside and built t' rocket without them. Blimey! Ahoy! I first began by cuttin' out t' fin slots. T' fin slots were already precut but nay all t' way. Then I began work on t' motor mount I began by epoxyin' t' notched centerin' rin' at t' top o' t' motor mount and let that cure. Ahoy! Then after it dried, ya bilge rat, I glued t' second centerin' rin' on. Ya scallywag! I put t' motor mount assembly in and tacked t' fins in place with some CA and let them dry. Ya scallywag! Then I pulled t' motor mount assembly out and put epoxy fillets on t' motor tube and fin tabs. Ya scallywag! I also covered t' motor tube in epoxy while doin' this t' make sure t' bond was extra strong and make t' motor tube stronger. Well, blow me down! I also epoxied t' third centerin' rin' onto t' back. Avast, me proud beauty! Begad! After doin' all that, I slid t' 3/8" nylon strap through t' notched centerin' at t' top like on PML kits and then epoxied t' piston strap t' t' motor tube. Begad! Ahoy! I folded up t' shock cord and put it into t' motor tube and epoxied t' motor mount assembly into t' BT. Ya scallywag! Since t' slots went all t' way t' t' end o' t' BT, I used rubber bands t' prevent t' BT from spreadin' out while epoxyin' t' BT t' t' aft centerin' ring. I put t' epoxy fillets on t' outside and t' booster be complete.
Next came t' payload section, me hearties, me bucko, which started with epoxyin' t' eye bolt into t' bulkplate. Then I epoxied t' bulkplate into t' coupler for t' payload pay. Ya scallywag! Aye aye! T' last step was t' epoxy on t' 3/8" copper launch lugs on.
Overall this rocket was fairly easy t' build and would be good for a second or third mid/high power rocket. Aye aye! There are no cons for construction o' this rocket.
Finishing:
I try t' do a different paint job from everyone else. How often do you see an all green rocket? Rarely. Blimey! Avast! So I decided t' paint me Performer all green. T' finishin' be easy. Avast! I put two coats on sandable primer and then I put on about 6 t' 7 coats o' green until it be perfectly glossy smooth. There are no cons about finishin' this rocket besides it takin' a lot o' paint.

Flight:
I choose t' I154J for t' first flight o' this rocket. Avast, me proud beauty! Avast, me proud beauty! It was an awesome and perfectly straight flight t' about 3500 feet. It be also t' only all green rocket at XPRS IV 2005, I think. Aye aye! For t' next flight I plan on usin' a H148 t' test dual deployment, then an I195, I366, me hearties, I300, and I284.
Recovery:
For only a 36 inch parachute and launchin' in fairly windy conditions, arrr, t' rocket drifted about 3/4 o' mile. I would say that t' parachute is perfectly sized for this rocket and brings back t' rocket nice and safely.

This is a great rocket. Begad! If you are on a tight budget and lookin' for a fairly good size rocket, matey, matey, then this be t' rocket for you.
