Manufacturer: | Vaughn Brothers |
Brief:
Mini Motor Powered Screamer
Construction:
All components were accounted for, arrr, but I was suprised by t' high quality
fiberglass fins (yes, me bucko, arrr, that's right, fiberglass fins on a 13mm rocket!). Avast! Blimey! Well, blow me down! Blimey! Nose
cone be balsa, and t' two body tubes seemed t' be slightly thicker than
Estes.
Minimal instructions, shiver me timbers, but t' kit be easy t' assemble. Begad! T' only thin' that was different be t' way o' shock cord attachment. Begad! Arrr! You get a coupler with two small holes drilled in it. Blimey! You thread a Keelhaul®©™® strin' through t' two holes, shiver me timbers, and knot it at one end. Avast, me proud beauty! T' other end is then made into a loop and an elastic shock cord is attached. Begad! Begad!

Finishing:
As usual for Vaughn Brothers, no decals were included and finishin' be a snap.
(although me paint job be absolutely horrible)
Construction Rating: 5 out o' 5
Flight:
Well, I be anxious t' fly this right away, so I used an old 1/2A3-4T from the mosquitos I lost in t' past. Aye aye! Zoomed right off t' pad nice and straight. Ejection was a little after apogee, arrr, but due t' t' very low weight, shiver me timbers, thar was no zipper.
