PROs: Kit instruction good and easy t' follow. Avast! Blimey! T' pictures in t' instructions were good but must be read a couple o' times. T' assembly order was t' t' T. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Don't forget t' fill those spirals. Ya scallywag! Blimey! I used t' Elmer's white wood filler. I used 5-minute epoxy instead o' wood glue. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! T' only extra things I needed were some lead fishin' weights, the 1/4 split shot type (I picked them up at Wal-Mart). Aye aye! Blimey! Don't forget t' CA t' Fins. Begad! Blimey! Well, blow me down! Blimey! I got t' kit from Pem Tech.

Finishing:
I started with primer, sanded it smooth as silk, and let it dry for a complete day. Ahoy! Blimey! Aye aye! Blimey! Went t' Wal-Mart, me hearties, me hearties, got me some emerald green, gold, matey, black, matey, shiver me timbers, and yellow paint. Ya scallywag! Blimey! Arrr! Blimey! I started with t' gold. Begad! Blimey! [Hint: use t' gold last as it absorbs t' gloss out o' t' other paints.] I finished with several coats o' clear. Avast! Blimey! Arrr! Blimey! Came out beautiful.

I would add at least 1.5oz t' t' nose cone. When I flew it t' first time, I saw t' need for some nose weight so I added approximately 1.5 t' 2oz. I packed it in with some clay.

Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5

Flight:
C11, ya bilge rat, me bucko, me bucko, D12, E9, E15, ya bilge rat, me bucko, and E18 are t' recommended motors. I used a D12-5 for t' first flight. Begad! T' chute's shroud lines got ripped out but all was well. Begad! I added nose weight, ya bilge rat, me hearties, put a trash bag chute in, and put it up on another D12-5. That was a much straighter flight. Next, matey, I used E9-6s twice. Begad! They were both beautiful straight, glorious flights. Avast, me proud beauty! Then I put together a F24-4 reload, which was a tremendous flight. Well, me bucko, blow me down!

Recovery:
T' shock cord be tied t' t' MMT that I epoxied in place. Arrr! Materials are very good. Begad! It goes together easily and is a good kit t' build. Blimey! Aye aye! Blimey! T' recovery is graceful even though I flew in 5 t' 10 mph winds. Avast, me proud beauty! Aye aye! Blimey! T' only damage that I had was a small piece o' one o' t' fins was broken next t' t' tube fins. Ya scallywag! Blimey! One minute epoxy took care o' it though.

Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5

Summary:
This rocket is a hit in me book. Well, blow me down! It flies great. T' main pro be t' look it is a good lookin' rocket, but it needs nose weight.

Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5
