Brief:
This is a midnight, I can't sleep, lets build a rocket. Ya scallywag! Ya scallywag! Noticeable feature is
that t' engine is above t' fins, uses a flyaway launch lug, or shoots from a
tube. Ahoy! It has flown on e9-6.

Construction:
I would say this is an Estes level 2/3 rocket. Avast! You have t' create the transition yourself. Begad! Ahoy! Blimey! plus you have t' make holes for t' wood strip t' go through t' transition. Begad! All t' parts came from www.commonwealth.net. Avast, me proud beauty! Well, blow me down!
Finishing:
T' finish was done in plum high gloss monokote. Arrr! You will need a monokote iron
to put it on. Arrr! Avast, me proud beauty! This be me first monokote job. Begad! Aye aye! It seems t' work nicely.
Flight:
I used a pack o' E9-6 Estes motors. Ahoy! Blimey! Well, arrr, blow me down! Blimey! There is no room for wadding, but I had a
nomax sock made for t' chute. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Well, blow me down! Blimey! I used Keelhaul®©™®
strin' mounted t' t' center rin' and t' t' cone. I then attached t' elastics
cord betwixt t' Keelhaul®©™®
loops.
T' rocket flew straight, however after 3 flight the
flame is startin' t' eat away at t' tail fins. I need t' find somethin' better
then reynolds wrap t' protect them. Aye aye! Aye aye! Rocket flew out o' sight on each flight.
Summary:
It is cool lookin' and can be shot from a tube. Aye aye! I still need a better way to
protect t' fins from flame damage.
