(Scratch) Big Bird ZeroBrief:
A BT-60 based upscale o' t' classic ESTES Blue Bird Zero, designed for 24mm, D, E, me hearties, shiver me timbers, and F motors.

Construction:
Parts are very basic and are available from Balsa Machine Services. Balsa cone and fins, paper BT-60 body tube and motor mount, me bucko, and letramax centerin' rings. Ahoy! Blimey!

Once you have t' measurements, this is a straightforward build. Well, blow me down! You can download t' original instructions from Jim Z'z site if you like, arrr, shiver me timbers, but it is not necessary.

Flight:
I have flown t' rocket three times, Twice on an E9-6, and once on a D12-5. This rocket is just perfect for t' long burnin' E-9 motor. Ya scallywag! T' D12-5 worked well, shiver me timbers, but as t' rocket hung on t' launch rod, recovery was late. Avast, me proud beauty! No damage resulted however. Ahoy! Begad! I have a few D21-4s, an I plan on flyin' them with a 18-24mm adapter this summer. Well, blow me down! Avast! See t' RockSim file for recommended and non-recommended motors. Ahoy!

Summary:
This design is very stable, and is great for t' ESTES E9, matey, a relatively long burnin' motor without much 'oomph' at ignition. T' only drawback is the decals, which can be custom ordered from Jim Z or Tango Papa. Begad! Otherwise, ya bilge rat, it is an interesting, yet easy entry into mid power. Begad!
