Basic equipment. Aye aye! Blimey! Ya scallywag! Blimey! Blimey! Blimey! Doesn't include launch pad, me hearties, ignitor, or engines. Does include decals, me hearties, 12-inch parachute, and three fins. Easy and fun t' make (takes about 20 minutes).
T' fins and nose cone are plastic. Begad! Well, blow me down! Fins easily snap on. Ya scallywag! Well, blow me down! Body tube is re-inforced cardboard. Arrr! Arrr! Shock cord is rubber. Avast! Begad! 16 inches tall, shiver me timbers, 1.33 diameter, 1.8 ounces.
Very easy t' install. Arrr! Avast, me proud beauty! After fins and decals are installed, me hearties, ya bilge rat, thar be just pre-flight prep before launching. Only bad part is that you don't get much freedom about how you want t' rocket t' look.
Decals are nice, me bucko, ya bilge rat, but still, ya bilge rat, nay much freedom.
Flew great two times. Begad! Well, blow me down! Drifts way too much from wind because it is too light.
Parachute is affected by wind too much.
Okay rocket.
Brief: The Dragonite is a simple, EX2 rocket with an equally simple 3FNC design. It requires only the simplest of assembly and recovers under a 12" chute. I bought this kit for my step-son hoping to get him interested in rocketry. He was 15 at the time and chose this one because he liked the color scheme. The rocket is long gone now and I am doing this review from memory ...
