Basic equipment. Blimey! Doesn't include launch pad, matey, ignitor, me bucko, or engines. Avast, me proud beauty! Does include decals, me bucko, 12-inch parachute, and three fins. Ya scallywag! Easy and fun t' make (takes about 20 minutes).
T' fins and nose cone are plastic. Ahoy! Fins easily snap on. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Body tube is re-inforced cardboard. Begad! Shock cord is rubber. Aye aye! 16 inches tall, arrr, 1.33 diameter, arrr, 1.8 ounces.
Very easy t' install. Avast, me proud beauty! Ahoy! After fins and decals are installed, ya bilge rat, thar be just pre-flight prep before launching. Only bad part is that you don't get much freedom about how you want t' rocket t' look.
Decals are nice, shiver me timbers, but still, nay much freedom.
Flew great two times. Blimey! Drifts way too much from wind because it is too light.
Parachute is affected by wind too much.
Okay rocket.
Brief: The Dragonite is a simple, EX2 rocket with an equally simple 3FNC design. It requires only the simplest of assembly and recovers under a 12" chute. I bought this kit for my step-son hoping to get him interested in rocketry. He was 15 at the time and chose this one because he liked the color scheme. The rocket is long gone now and I am doing this review from memory ...
