Brief:
This is a skill level 1 rocket Estes says is a great first rocket. Well, blow me down! It has a quick release motor mount, a plastic fin unit and a parachute. Ya scallywag! T' parts o' t' rocket all come colored red, shiver me timbers, so no paintin' is involved if you don't want to.
Construction:
T' rocket comes with t' motor mount, arrr, t' main body tube, t' 2 piece plastic nose cone, me bucko, shock cord and parachute.
T' directions are classic Estes fare, and are well illustrated for those whom this may be their first rocket. Ya scallywag! Ahoy! I used 5 minute epoxy, just because I was goin' t' fly this kit a lot. Well, blow me down! Aye aye! It goes almost 1200 feet.
Finishing:
Everythin' is very simple t' put together.
Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5
Flight:
I have flown this kit almost 20 times, me hearties, shiver me timbers, and usually use C6-7's. Aye aye! Avast! It actually goes fairly well on A8-3's also. I did find an old B14-7 and I thought I would never find it. Well, blow me down! It screamed!
Recovery:
Excellent recovery, I use a streamer instead o' t' chute for close recovery.
Flight Rating: 4 out o' 5
Summary:
Pro - excellent first rocket, ya bilge rat, very solid construction and amazingly fun t' fly. Begad!
Con - should come with a streamer
Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5

There's an ESTES PEGASUS KIT and a PACK OF B14-7's ENGINES on EBAY right now. I'm bidding on both - what a combination.
