Estes Pegasus Brief:
This is a skill level 1 rocket Estes says is a great first rocket. Avast, me proud beauty! It has a quick release motor mount, a plastic fin unit and a parachute. Arrr! T' parts o' t' rocket all come colored red, me hearties, me hearties, me hearties, so no paintin' is involved if you don't want to.

Construction:
T' rocket comes with t' motor mount, me bucko, t' main body tube, t' 2 piece plastic nose cone, shiver me timbers, shock cord and parachute.

T' directions are classic Estes fare, ya bilge rat, and are well illustrated for those whom this may be their first rocket. Arrr! I used 5 minute epoxy, just because I was goin' t' fly this kit a lot. It goes almost 1200 feet.

Finishing:
Everythin' is very simple t' put together.

Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5

Flight:
I have flown this kit almost 20 times, and usually use C6-7's. It actually goes fairly well on A8-3's also. Aye aye! Blimey! I did find an old B14-7 and I thought I would never find it. Avast! Ahoy! It screamed!

Recovery:
Excellent recovery, me bucko, I use a streamer instead o' t' chute for close recovery.

Flight Rating: 4 out o' 5

Summary:
Pro - excellent first rocket, very solid construction and amazingly fun t' fly.
Con - should come with a streamer

Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5

There's an ESTES PEGASUS KIT and a PACK OF B14-7's ENGINES on EBAY right now. I'm bidding on both - what a combination.
