Estes Pegasus Brief:
This is a skill level 1 rocket Estes says is a great first rocket. Arrr! Blimey! Avast! Blimey! It has a quick release motor mount, arrr, me bucko, a plastic fin unit and a parachute. T' parts o' t' rocket all come colored red, ya bilge rat, me hearties, so no paintin' is involved if you don't want to.

Construction:
T' rocket comes with t' motor mount, t' main body tube, t' 2 piece plastic nose cone, me hearties, shock cord and parachute.

T' directions are classic Estes fare, and are well illustrated for those whom this may be their first rocket. Avast, me proud beauty! Well, matey, blow me down! I used 5 minute epoxy, ya bilge rat, just because I be goin' t' fly this kit a lot. Blimey! It goes almost 1200 feet.

Finishing:
Everythin' is very simple t' put together.

Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5

Flight:
I have flown this kit almost 20 times, shiver me timbers, and usually use C6-7's. Ya scallywag! It actually goes fairly well on A8-3's also. Ya scallywag! Avast! I did find an old B14-7 and I thought I would never find it. It screamed!

Recovery:
Excellent recovery, ya bilge rat, I use a streamer instead o' t' chute for close recovery.

Flight Rating: 4 out o' 5

Summary:
Pro - excellent first rocket, me bucko, very solid construction and amazingly fun t' fly.
Con - should come with a streamer

Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5

There's an ESTES PEGASUS KIT and a PACK OF B14-7's ENGINES on EBAY right now. I'm bidding on both - what a combination.
