Estes Pegasus Brief:
This is a skill level 1 rocket Estes says is a great first rocket. Ya scallywag! Arrr! It has a quick release motor mount, a plastic fin unit and a parachute. Avast, me proud beauty! T' parts o' t' rocket all come colored red, so no paintin' is involved if you don't want to.

Construction:
T' rocket comes with t' motor mount, arrr, t' main body tube, me bucko, t' 2 piece plastic nose cone, shock cord and parachute.

T' directions are classic Estes fare, and are well illustrated for those whom this may be their first rocket. Blimey! Begad! I used 5 minute epoxy, just because I was goin' t' fly this kit a lot. Begad! Begad! It goes almost 1200 feet.

Finishing:
Everythin' is very simple t' put together.

Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5

Flight:
I have flown this kit almost 20 times, ya bilge rat, matey, and usually use C6-7's. It actually goes fairly well on A8-3's also. Avast! I did find an old B14-7 and I thought I would never find it. It screamed!

Recovery:
Excellent recovery, me bucko, shiver me timbers, I use a streamer instead o' t' chute for close recovery.

Flight Rating: 4 out o' 5

Summary:
Pro - excellent first rocket, very solid construction and amazingly fun t' fly. Blimey! Avast! Blimey!
Con - should come with a streamer

Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5

There's an ESTES PEGASUS KIT and a PACK OF B14-7's ENGINES on EBAY right now. I'm bidding on both - what a combination.
