Rocket PicBrief:
This is Estes' first rocket. Arrr! It has been out o' production for a number o' years. I'd say it's almost impossible t' find a complete kit. Ya scallywag! Avast! This be a clone that I made out o' spare parts and wood from one o' me dad's busted model airplane.

Construction:
This kit was made from spare parts. Well, blow me down! Well, blow me down! I got t' plans from Jimz and used parts from an old Mini Bertha. Begad! Avast! T' rocket has tumble recovery, so no parachute or streamer. There are 3 fins which need t' be cut. Begad! Blimey! T' cone is glued on. Ya scallywag! You then punch out 2 small vent holes on t' top sides.

Instructions were just lookin' at a picture from Jimz. Begad! Blimey! My NC was too tall (bein' from a Mini Bertha) so I did some sandin' down. Begad! I used hot glue on attachin' t' fins, shiver me timbers, matey, which works good. Ya scallywag! Arrr! It is a easy build. Avast, me proud beauty! I think it be a skill 1 rocket. Arrr! No special tools really needed.

Finishing:
There were 2 decals. Begad! But I just made ovals on t' side, since I had no decals. Well, blow me down! Ahoy! My paint skills were pretty lame when I built this. I went with t' look as I saw in a Ninfinger Catalog photo. Aye aye! I used a Sharpie t' paint t' black fin.

Construction Rating: 3 out o' 5

Flight:
I haven't flown it yet. It needs no wadding, shiver me timbers, as with all tumble recovery rockets. Avast! Avast! I will use a 1/2A6-2 for first flight.

Recovery:
Like I said, ya bilge rat, I haven't flown it yet, me hearties, but from what I've seen from me Quark, shiver me timbers, it should come down fast. Ahoy! Blimey! Probably go up fast and high.

Flight Rating: 4 out o' 5

Summary:
This kit is good. Fairly easy t' clone and has a pretty slick paint job. I have yet t' fly it, but it is a nice rocket for t' starter. Begad! Well, blow me down! You'll have t' clone it if you want one.

Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5
