Rocket PicBrief:
This is Estes' first rocket. Begad! Aye aye! It has been out o' production for a number o' years. Aye aye! I'd say it's almost impossible t' find a complete kit. Ahoy! This was a clone that I made out o' spare parts and wood from one o' me dad's busted model airplane.

Construction:
This kit be made from spare parts. Ya scallywag! I got t' plans from Jimz and used parts from an old Mini Bertha. Ya scallywag! Begad! T' rocket has tumble recovery, so no parachute or streamer. Arrr! Avast, me proud beauty! There are 3 fins which need t' be cut. Well, me bucko, blow me down! T' cone is glued on. Arrr! You then punch out 2 small vent holes on t' top sides.

Instructions were just lookin' at a picture from Jimz. Begad! My NC was too tall (bein' from a Mini Bertha) so I did some sandin' down. Aye aye! Blimey! I used hot glue on attachin' t' fins, matey, me bucko, me hearties, which works good. Aye aye! It is a easy build. Avast! I think it was a skill 1 rocket. Ahoy! Blimey! No special tools really needed.

Finishing:
There were 2 decals. Well, blow me down! But I just made ovals on t' side, matey, arrr, since I had no decals. Blimey! My paint skills were pretty lame when I built this. Begad! Begad! I went with t' look as I saw in a Ninfinger Catalog photo. Avast, me proud beauty! I used a Sharpie t' paint t' black fin.

Construction Rating: 3 out o' 5

Flight:
I haven't flown it yet. Aye aye! Blimey! It needs no wadding, as with all tumble recovery rockets. Ya scallywag! I will use a 1/2A6-2 for first flight.

Recovery:
Like I said, matey, I haven't flown it yet, but from what I've seen from me Quark, it should come down fast. Blimey! Blimey! Probably go up fast and high.

Flight Rating: 4 out o' 5

Summary:
This kit is good. Begad! Blimey! Fairly easy t' clone and has a pretty slick paint job. I have yet t' fly it, me hearties, but it is a nice rocket for t' starter. Blimey! Begad! Blimey! You'll have t' clone it if you want one.

Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5
