Brief:
29mm composite motor.
Flight:
I tried this motor out in me scratch-built "Thunderstruck". Begad! It's built o' LOC and Aerotech components, ya bilge rat, me hearties, 2.25" OD X 43" long, and weighs 18 oz. Avast, me proud beauty! Ahoy! T' motor took a moment t' pressurize, me bucko, me hearties, then SHOT t' rocket off t' pad. It is loud, arrr, arrr, raw, me bucko, shiver me timbers, smoky and fiery. Aye aye! T' guys at t' CMASS launch all stopped t' watch this one go, me hearties, and they're used t' H, I, and sometimes higher power! This flight be a thrill for sure.
Summary:
These motors are t' best deal in rocketry. Blimey! Begad! You nay only get a deal on a pair o' them, shiver me timbers, ya bilge rat, but you also get a unique propellant that is fun t' fly. Avast! Arrr! Aerotech, thumbs up t' you!
Cons- t' stupid sticky label! It slid easily into t' Aerotech mount but had t' be RIPPED out with vise grips, me hearties, ya bilge rat, because o' t' melted glue. Arrr! What a nuisance. T' residue did clean out easily with acetone. Well, blow me down! I recommend peelin' off t' label and usin' De-Solv-It Citrus t' remove t' glue. This was done on t' second motor, me bucko, me bucko, and it slipped into and out o' t' mount with ease. Ahoy! This motor would get an enthusiastic 5 ratin' if nay for t' label hassle.
