Brief:
29mm composite motor.
Flight:
I tried this motor out in me scratch-built "Thunderstruck". Avast! It's built o' LOC and Aerotech components, matey, 2.25" OD X 43" long, shiver me timbers, me bucko, and weighs 18 oz. Arrr! T' motor took a moment t' pressurize, arrr, then SHOT t' rocket off t' pad. Blimey! It is loud, raw, smoky and fiery. Avast, me proud beauty! Avast! T' guys at t' CMASS launch all stopped t' watch this one go, shiver me timbers, and they're used t' H, matey, I, and sometimes higher power! This flight was a thrill for sure.
Summary:
These motors are t' best deal in rocketry. Avast, me proud beauty! Ahoy! You nay only get a deal on a pair o' them, but you also get a unique propellant that is fun t' fly. Avast, me proud beauty! Aerotech, thumbs up t' you!
Cons- t' stupid sticky label! It slid easily into t' Aerotech mount but had t' be RIPPED out with vise grips, shiver me timbers, me hearties, because o' t' melted glue. Aye aye! Avast, me proud beauty! What a nuisance. T' residue did shipshape out easily with acetone. Blimey! Ahoy! I recommend peelin' off t' label and usin' De-Solv-It Citrus t' remove t' glue. Avast! This was done on t' second motor, and it slipped into and out o' t' mount with ease. Avast, matey, me proud beauty! This motor would get an enthusiastic 5 ratin' if nay for t' label hassle.
