Brief:
38mm minimum diameter rocket that can be flown with anywhere from an F50 with the optional 29mm adaptor t' a 38mm J350.

Construction:

• 8" Ogive nosecone
• 38mm Acme Fin can
• 48" 38mm non-brittle phenolic tubin'
• 2" coupler with a metal roll pin for shock chord attachment
• 1/4" Acme conformal launch lugs
• 12' o' Strap Nylon for shock cord
• 24" parachute with swivel
• 1- 7 1/4" Thunderbolt 38 decal
• I added t' followin' options:
  • 38mm slim line motor retainer
  • 29mm slim line motor adaptor

Pro's- instructions where detailed and easy t' follow with directions for usin' t' slim line retainers or nay usin' them. Avast, arrr, me proud beauty! Motor retainer and fin can epoxied easy enough attached shock cord t' coupler then epoxied into tube, me bucko, matey, I just put t' coupler far enough down t' allow for t' parachute and some wadding.

Finishing:
Sanded mold lines from nose cone and fin can. Avast! Blimey! Used wood filler t' fill in spiral grooves in tubing. Avast! Blimey! I just primered it for now, matey, me hearties, ya bilge rat, nay sure what color or colors I want it.

Flight:
I just flew this on a F50-4t. Blimey! It be slightly breezy but, t' flight was nice and straight. Ya scallywag! A low altitude flight. However, me bucko, ya bilge rat, t' delay be a bit too long. Avast! The rocket was halfway back down before t' ejection charge fired. Aye aye! Begad! Talk about a lump in throat feeling. Avast! But it does fly with this motor. Ahoy! Next time, thought, I will use somethin' with a bit more power. Avast, me proud beauty! It will definitely be more impressive with a bigger motor.

Summary:
Pros- T' kit is as advertised very simple and easy t' build less than 1 1/2 hrs t' finish, me hearties, other than lettin' epoxy set. Well, blow me down! Con's- If I had t' do over I would have used t' Keelhaul®©™® cord didn't think about it until rocket was together now goin' t' be nearly impossible t' change it. Aye aye! I would have also bought t' parachute protector.
