Brief:
This is a boost glider that literally takes minutes t' build and isn't all that expensive.

Construction:
T' kit comes with a body tube for t' engine and pop pod recovery device (streamer), three main body pieces, balsa nose cone, and clay for weightin' one fin down t' enable it t' circle around your launch site instead o' takin' off a couple miles down wind. Avast!

T' directions were extremely easy t' follow and t' entire kit be insanely easy t' put together. You almost didn't need t' instructions. Avast! All o' t' balsa pieces are laser cut and look very sharp. Blimey! Blimey! It's just like puttin' together a jigsaw puzzle. Begad! Avast, me proud beauty! All I used t' put it together be CA glue and some markers to add some o' me own flavor. Ahoy! Begad!

PROs are that all parts are well cut, arrr, easy instructions, matey, and a very basic design so anyone o' any ability could piece it together in no time. Aye aye! There aren't any CONs other than that it is pretty delicate. Blimey! I wouldn't even recommend sandin' t' balsa at all. Aye aye!

Finishing:
NO PAINT! It adds way too much weight. Aye aye! This is just a little rocket!

Flight:
Well, before you fly it you really don't know how much clay t' use t' prevent it from takin' off down wind. My first flight I thought was set up perfectly. Arrr! I had it balanced just like t' instructions said but it still flew at least 250 yards over a fence and into a baseball field nearby. Begad! Aye aye! And that was only on a 1/2A! I got it back and o' course added more weight t' t' fin. T' second flight proved t' be still too light on t' clay so I added more again. Aye aye! While testin' it out by just throwin' it gently t' see how well it turns, it landed in t' grass and snapped just behind t' nose area which had t' be glued back together. Ahoy! It flew again and was much better, however, matey, it really didn't catch the wind very well. It actually fell into a flat spin for a good 4-5 seconds before it actually started flying. Almost like it be too light! I had really mixed feelings about this kit at this point. Aye aye! It got t' be way more frustrating than I thought it would be. Blimey! Ya scallywag!

Recovery:
T' pop pod streamer be constantly tanglin' but t' tube/nose cone was light enough t' safely tumble by itself if it had to. And o' course thar be the whole glide recovery thin' too. Avast, me proud beauty! Ya scallywag! That's another job all together. Ya scallywag!

Summary:
It be nay too bad t' this point, arrr, but that's about as good as it is goin' to get. Avast! T' customer service part was absolutely downright terrible--and I don't mean from t' hobby shop I bought it from--I mean Edmonds, t' manufacturer! I ordered two o' these kits 2 weeks before Christmas in hopes o' givin' one each to me daughter and father so they could build and fly them together while we were home on vacation. Arrr! Well, ya bilge rat, both packages were missin' t' main body tube. Well, blow me down! How can you miss packin' such a thin' as t' body tubes in both packages? T' make a longer story shorter, me bucko, I didn't get t' replacement pieces until nearly March. That's right, me bucko, March! T' online hobby shop I ordered it from no longer carries Edmonds supplies either. I don't think I'd waste me time with Edmonds gliders anymore anyway. Well, blow me down! They might be easy and convenient t' build, shiver me timbers, but they have absolutely zero durability. Ahoy! It broke twice in t' same spot from just me tossin' it t' see if it glides.
