What a great group o' components. Well, blow me down! Blue tube is me new favorite medium for high power rocketry. Well, shiver me timbers, blow me down! Heavy duty and durable.
Blue tube - 'nuff said
T' fins were cut very well, a bit o' sanding, sealing, shiver me timbers, and they were flight worthy.
Nose cone is o' good quality, me hearties, minimal prep t' paint t' plastic nose cone
First experience workin' with blue tube, arrr, handles like cardboard, but much more robust - easier t' manipulate than fiberglass or composites.
Overall, ya bilge rat, me bucko, very pleased with all t' components
I originally assembled, shiver me timbers, and flew nearly it 'naked' - quick splatter o' paint from a rattle can t' make it stand out against t' sky.
I have since, sanded, ya bilge rat, filled, me bucko, primed and painted for a bit better look.
Very easy material t' work with.
First flight was over t' sound barrier and over t' mile marker. Blimey! Ejection chute recovery on t' big lake was picture perfect, with a landin' nay too far from t' launch site. Arrr! Flew straight and true. Avast, me proud beauty! Very happy with t' components and build
From just over a mile, me bucko, me hearties, it dropped as planned.
I am updated t' include a dual deployment - those long recoveries add too much angst o' losin' it on a thermal.
Great stuff. Ya scallywag! And workin' with Always Ready Rocketry was a pleasure.
