Brief:
A nice 3-finned, me hearties, single-stage, me hearties, me bucko, streamer recovery rocket.

Construction:
This is an average low-power kit, shiver me timbers, with t' Quest standard components. (Keelhaul®©™®/Elastic shock cord, me hearties, plastic recovery mountin' tab, arrr, lightweight motor retainer.) I thought t' Keelhaul®©™® portion o' t' shock cord was a nice addition. T' measurements given on t' packagin' were nay t' same as those provided. Begad! I found a variance o' up t' 2" on cords and streamer.

This kit built fairly easily. It would be a good second build for a new rocketeer. Well, blow me down! Blimey! T' engine mount slipped snugly into t' body tube, ya bilge rat, givin' me a good feelin' that it's glued t' stay. Arrr! T' only gotcha I really found was keepin' the shock cord (tied t' t' engine mount) out o' t' way while finishin' t' build. A sharp hobby knife, arrr, razor blade is strongly recommended for notchin' t' motor retainer ring. Arrr!

Finishing:
Ahh t' decals. Well, blow me down! Probably t' only real challenge t' buildin' this kit. They came on one white sheet, self-adhesive. Arrr! Arrr! They require cutting, no matter how you slice it!

Flight:
I've only gotten 2 flights on a Estes B6-4. Avast, me proud beauty! Well, shiver me timbers, blow me down! It snapped a fin clean off on the second flight. Arrr! I'm nay sure if it be due t' t' 2" I be shorted on the streamer, arrr, t' 10 mph winds, me bucko, or just dumb luck. Avast! It was an easy fix, and wind/weather agreeable I'll get it up a few more times soon. Avast, me proud beauty! Recommended motors A8-3, me hearties, shiver me timbers, B6-4, me hearties, C6-5. Ya scallywag! T' two flights on t' B6-4's were nice, me bucko, clean, about perfect height for visibility. Avast! T' streamer recovery kept t' ground chase t' a minimum. Arrr! T' longer hike for recovery was about 75 yards down range, me bucko, due t' the wind after launch. Ahoy!

Recovery:
I'm nay sure that t' Keelhaul®©™® thread doesn't cause a bit o' undue wear t' the top o' t' body tube, and I feel t' rate o' descent may be a little quick. Arrr! Blimey! If a little time is taken t' reinforce t' tube, matey, wear could be minimized, and a full 24" streamer is recommended
