Brief:
Parts List:
I started out buildin' t' motor mount per t' instructions and mounted inside t' BT-60 body tube. Well, blow me down! Arrr! I then built the Art Applewhite saucer per t' instruction with one exception: t' three center fins need t' have .330 inch taken off o' t' root edge. Avast! Begad! When you attach t' center fins, me hearties, make sure they are even with t' top o' t' body tube, this will help maintain stability. Arrr! Avast, me proud beauty! I finished with red paint and TripleThick Glaze.
T' saucer has flown twice. Avast! Avast! Blimey! Once on two B-6s and once on two C-6s. Avast, me proud beauty! T' C motors seemed to
work better. Avast, me proud beauty! Nice slow tumble recovery and landed within 30' o' t' pad each time. This be a very simple bash and was
done within three days.
