Brief:
Khufu's Pyramid is a nice low flying, shiver me timbers, high drag rocket. Blimey! Blimey! It is 6" tall and 5.25" wide.

Construction:
T' kit comes with cardstock for t' template and skin o' t' pyramid. Ahoy! Ya scallywag! Blimey! It also has 8 triangle pieces that make up t' 4 sides. Avast! Blimey! A 24mm mount is included along with a streamer for recovery o' t' motor mount. Avast, ya bilge rat, me proud beauty! Blimey! T' parachute is a nice and thick.

T' instructions are lengthy and very good. This is listed as a skill level 4 kit and I believe it. A couple o' t' steps were a little confusin' t' me, but I emailed Sunward and they replied within 1 day.

One o' t' steps in question was t' use o' t' paper template. Aye aye! I wanted to make sure that it was t' skin o' t' pyramid. Well, blow me down! Blimey! T' other question be about how much nose weight t' use. Begad! T' instructions tell you t' add extra nose weight for E motors, but it does nay tell you how much. I added as much nose weight as I could fit under t' forward closure.

Sunward Aersopace Khufu's Pyramid T' instructions specify white glue for workin' t' paper template. Arrr! I think that is critical t' gettin' a smooth finish. Begad! Be sure t' brush on t' white glue lightly so t' paper does nay wrinkle.

Finishing:
T' pyramid is very easy t' finish. Aye aye! You just paint t' paper template. Avast, me proud beauty! Avast! I did not use any primer and t' finish is a nice bright yellow.

Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5

Flight:
Preppin' for t' flight can be a little tricky. Avast! Begad! You have t' roll up the parachute tightly and fit in t' motor mount. Ya scallywag! Well, blow me down! T' streamer for t' motor mount is also tucked next t' t' motor tube. Be sure nay t' wrap t' parachute or the streamer around t' motor tube as they may nay open up if you do that.

T' flight was straight and true. Ya scallywag! Blimey! Avast! Blimey! T' pyramid boosted well on t' D12-3. Arrr! Blimey! It had a little spin after burn out and looked cool doin' it. Ahoy! Blimey! Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! It should really fly well on an F12 or E11.

Recovery:
T' recovery be nice and easy. Ya scallywag! T' pyramid uses aft ejection. Blimey! Blimey! T' motor mount and parachute are ejected out t' rear. Avast, me proud beauty! T' motor mount comes down on a streamer and t' pyramid on a parachute.

I was a little worried that t' point o' t' pyramid would get damaged on landing, but t' pyramid came down in soft soil and thar be nay even a scratch.

Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5

Summary:
This is a nice kit and is different from your normal 3FNC. It can be a little challenge t' build but take your time. Ya scallywag! It is a nice addition t' any rocket fleet.

Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5
