This rocket has an interestin' recovery. Ahoy! It has a parachute and a streamer. Avast! I think it's kinda cool.
Construction
This rocket was in a plastic bag. Well, blow me down! Avast, me proud beauty! All t' parts were thar and none were broken. Ya scallywag! It consists of: nose cone, 3 balsa fins, streamer, ya bilge rat, 12 inch parachute, shock cord, paper shock cord mount, me bucko, launch lug, arrr, 2 centerin' rings, matey, decal sheet, me bucko, engine hook and a BT- 50 body tube. Avast, me proud beauty! T' instructions were typical Estes. You know, tons o' illustrations, shiver me timbers, really easy t' follow, etc.. Arrr! It was a snap t' build. Arrr! Aye aye! Everythin' fit perfect and it be very sturdy. Arrr! I've launched mine 14 times so far. Blimey! It takes t' same stuff all t' other rockets do. Begad! Hobby knife, shiver me timbers, glue, matey, sandpaper, etc., etc..
Finishing
This rocket looks great and is easy t' finish with some primer, me hearties, black and red spray paint and some sandpaper.

Estes recommends 1/2A6-2, arrr, A8-3, shiver me timbers, matey, B4-4, me hearties, shiver me timbers, B6-4, me hearties, B6-6, matey, C6-5, C6-7. Avast, me proud beauty! I used a B6-4 for a while and it was perfect every time. Ahoy! I now use C6-7's and it goes out o' sight.
Recovery
With a sheet o' waddin' and an engine it's easy t' prep. A engine hook holds it in so it doesn't eject out t' back or through t' top. Ahoy! It has flown straight up an landed 50 feet from t' pad. Avast, me proud beauty! No cons. Blimey! Everythin' be a pro. Arrr! Landin' was soft and slow.
