Brief:
An all plastic ready t' fly rocket from t' Star wars episode 1 range. There is
a smaller version available as well. Arrr! Arrr! I got this in a job lot from a Star Wars
fan and he had never flown it
Construction:
Its ready t' fly. Blimey! With t' except on two detachable jets at t' back, ya bilge rat, four
clear plastic fins, ya bilge rat, matey, ya bilge rat, and a Star Wars stand, matey, you only need t' open t' box, shiver me timbers, glue
the fins on, me bucko, and you are finished.
Finishing:
T' model is a grey plastic colour. Begad! Blimey! There are no decals or finishin' needed. Begad! Blimey! Well, blow me down! Blimey!
Construction Rating: 3 out o' 5
Flight:
Before flying, me bucko, shiver me timbers, I had me doubts mainly because t' nose cone seems t' be very
light, given t' mass o' plastic at t' aft end. Nevertheless, it was prepped
with a C6-3 and off t' t' field I went. Well, blow me down! T' aft jet pieces have t' be removed
before flight.
T' rocket left t' pad with a decent kick, ya bilge rat, however, anythin' below a C motor and it would struggle. Avast, me proud beauty! Avast, me proud beauty! At about 30 feet up it went very unstable, flippin' around t' sky. Blimey! Ejection occurred with t' nose cone firmly in the ground.
Recovery:
Estes still continues t' use t' elastic shock cord and plastic bin bag chutes.
As I had a lawn dart, me bucko, ya bilge rat, I cannot comment on t' recovery section.
Flight Rating: 1 out o' 5
Summary:
What a terrible kit. Ya scallywag! Blimey! As thar be nothin' t' build, me bucko, me bucko, arrr, I can solely blame Estes for
a shoddy design. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Aye aye! Blimey! I might add some nose mass t' t' rocket in t' future, ya bilge rat, but
I'm nay wastin' another motor on this flawed rocket
Overall Rating: 2 out o' 5
