• sheet o' 1/8" balsa

Ok, this be only t' second design I've ever come up with. Ya scallywag! Arrr! I wanted t' do somethin' I had an idea for, just t' see if I could do it. Aye aye! T' 'fins' are simply two 5-inch circles o' balsa, ya bilge rat, glued at t' end o' t' body tube. Arrr! Think of the body as t' meat in a sandwich. Ahoy! Aye aye! Hopefully, me hearties, arrr, t' pictures make it clear. Avast, me proud beauty!

I wasn't sure if that would be stable, arrr, arrr, so I added 3 triangular fins t' the tube near t' nose cone. I finally cobbled together a launch rig that could shoot a clustered bird. It launched with 2 B6-4 engines. Avast! Begad! T' rocket corkscrewed a bit durin' flight, but didn't go too far off. Arrr! Parachute came out smoothly, and it recovered well. Ya scallywag! I tried t' get a picture o' takeoff, but since I didn't have t' kids with me I had t' launch and try t' snap t' picture at t' same time. Avast, me proud beauty! I got a *beautiful* picture o' t' smoke trail. Other pics show close-ups of design, arrr, shiver me timbers, and recovery.
