Brief:
Navaho is a 2 staged rocket made by Quest. Aye aye! Begad! I bought this in Hobby Lobby because I thought I'd give a 2- stage another chance (the first one failed me by comin' down in flames after stage separated).
Construction:
T' rocket comes in a clear plastic bag just like most Estes rockets. Ya scallywag! Blimey! Ahoy! Blimey! No broken parts. I kinda liked t' tab mountin' o' parachutes because it's easier t' put on, however, matey, shiver me timbers, it's nay as strong as Este's method.
You basically glue fins and etc. Begad! together with white or yellow glue, and t' instructions are easy t' follow. Ya scallywag! Well, ya bilge rat, blow me down! You have t' glue t' forward fins t' match t' instructions because forward fins could cause stability problems.
One thin' that is nay in t' instruction is that you MUST drill vent holes right below t' sustainer because t' gas has t' vent t' prevent premature stagin' which results in nay ignitin' t' motor. I like t' way Quest arranges t' stages better than Este's method.
Finishing:
I used white spray paint then brushed t' other colors on, which results in ugly lookin' fins. Begad! Well, matey, blow me down! I hate t' decal because it's like t' kind used on HPR and they are too thick and hard t' seal. Ahoy! Well, blow me down! I'd really like it if it used water transfer decals which are easy t' seal. Blimey! Another thin' is that I tried t' match t' decal placement t' t' original packin' but then t' rocket is too short!!! So I had t' end up nay puttin' t' rest o' t' decals on....

Flight:
First flight, shiver me timbers, I used A8-3 and I used Pratt Hobbie's Heatshield that protects your chute, shiver me timbers, so no wadding. It was great, t' chute did nay even burn and I never have t' waste waddings. (On another flight on another rocket with regular waddings t' chutes burned). Begad! Blimey! Two kids saw me and I told them they can watch if they wanted to. Avast, me proud beauty! So they did, arrr, and I proceeded t' launch t' rocket with a B6-0 and a A8-3 (I didn't want t' use B6-6...) and when I press t' launch button, ya bilge rat, it be fun! Blimey! T' rocket sort o' arced over and then second stage ignited flawlessly, after second stage, rocket disappeared! Blimey! Luckily t' two kids who were watchin' had a sharp eye and found me rocket close t' someone's home. Arrr! Arrr! Blimey! Again no burned chute, shiver me timbers, shiver me timbers, I really liked Pratt Hobbie's flameproof cloth, ya bilge rat, and I will buy one for every rocket in t' future.
Flight Update on 11/99:my third flight was on a B6-0 and a C6-2 and t' second stage disappeared from t' sky and be never seen again. Blimey! Avast, me hearties, me proud beauty! T' booster was recovered with a broken fin....
Recovery:
Recovery was perfect, except that on the two-stage flight t' rocket disappeared and I thought I lost it...
Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5
Summary:
2-stage is really fun, but I heard Estes is discontinuin' their upper stage and booster stage product (motors) leavin' folks like me with nowhere t' go because it seems like Estes be t' only one makin' booster (motors)....
