Tintin
by Michel Demey
T' base o' this little rocket is a V2 rocket kit from ASP. Ahoy!
I chose t' 24mm version, because it seemed t' me that t' body shape was close t' t' Tintin rocket. After checkin' with t' book (there is a blue print of t' rocket in t' book), I be very pleased t' see that t' tailcone was very very close from t' drawing. Avast!
To make t' fuel pods o' t' Tintin rocket, arrr, I searched for a while until I saw that a pin' pong ball was a cheap and easy approximation. In fact, matey, shiver me timbers, when the rocket was finished, t' peoples that saw it didn't even noticed t' mistake! T' most important fact be t' painting. That's what t' spectators see.
Use t' fin template at t' end o' t' page. Aye aye! Begad! Print it t' t' correct size usin' t' size o' t' pin' pong ball as a guide. Ahoy! Begad! Use t' template o' t' root edge o' t' V2 fins t' draw precisely t' root edges o' t' Tintin rocket fins.T' weight in t' nose cone assure that t' cp/cg is ok (the Tintin fins are larger than t' v2-fins).T' rest is only finishing...
