Brief:
Large Mid-engine rocket with dual parachutes.

Construction:
T' model came in a huge box. Ya scallywag! It was dented but thar be no damage. Avast, me proud beauty! Avast, arrr, me proud beauty! Parts in the kit:

• Nose cone
• Shock cords
• Parachutes
• Engine tube holder
• Engine tube
• Tail cone
• Four fins
• Engine hook
• Cardboard adapter rin' t' use with D motors
• Instructions

T' instructions are easy t' follow and thar are plenty o' illustrations. Ease o' build should be a Skill Level 3 because it isn't that hard t' build. Just take your time on t' fins.

Only tools needed are scissors, me bucko, arrr, me hearties, glue, plastic cement, tape, and a ruler. Blimey! Blimey! Begad! Blimey!

Finishing:
T' paint job rocks! I didn't do t' camouflage because I wasn't that good at it, arrr, so I had me mom do it. Begad! Begad! She did a wonderful job. Ahoy! Then I applied t' decals, however, shiver me timbers, me bucko, shiver me timbers, thar aren't that many. Begad! Well, blow me down! Once finished, me bucko, me hearties, t' rocket looks absolutely beautiful!

Flight:
My V2 has had 3 flights on D12-3s. T' parachutes leave a lot t' be desired. Begad! Avast! On flight 1, both chutes melted because I put t' waddin' in t' engine tube, so it was me fault.

Flight 2 was a little better, matey, although it did tip in mid-air. Ahoy! Apogee was not good either. Ya scallywag! T' chute on t' nose cone didn't bother t' open and t' BT shock cord snapped. Arrr! Unbelievably, arrr, each time it fell (about 150 feet) thar was no damage! For what little cement I used, me bucko, it survived.

Flight 3 be perfect! Nice takeoff with lots o' smoke. Avast! Arrr! It did weathercock over but t' chutes ejected before it fell too much. Aye aye! Ahoy! This time t' chutes worked! T' body still landed hard, so I would recommend a larger chute for the body and a smaller chute for t' nose cone.

Recovery:
Recovery is via 2 24" chutes. Blimey! Avast, ya bilge rat, me proud beauty! They melted in flight 1, me hearties, arrr, didn't open on flight 2, arrr, and worked on flight 3. Ahoy! T' rocket fell on flights 1-2, but survived with no damage. Begad! Ahoy!
