I'm (Matt Gillard) writin' this review for me brother (Paul Morris) as he has recently suffer a stroke, and is findin' writin' difficult.

Parts

Paul is new t' rocketry and this was his first scratch rocket. Begad! Blimey!

He wanted it t' be big and t' be clustered.

T' first thin' he did be t' work out what sort o' fit he could get with his tubes etc. Begad!

In t' end he went for a triple cluster 18mm mounts in t' base o' a 40mm diameter BT. Avast, me proud beauty! This tube be coupled to another tube t' same size, givin' t' bottom half o' his rocket a length o' 576mm.

T' top half o' t' rocket was based on a nose cone actin' as a transition, with two 24mm BT on top. Begad! T' nose cone at t' top o' t' rocket be novel, me hearties, as it be none rocketry item that be cut down t' fit t' tubes and then t' accept a 13mm nose cone.

T' two halves were connected by shock cord in t' usual fashion with a parachute attached.

Building

T' fins were a concoction o' BTs as a tube fin rocket, ya bilge rat, me hearties, with three normal fins stickin' out. Begad! Avast!

T' rocket was then primed. Begad! Blimey! Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! And then coated in matt black paint. Ahoy! Blimey!

Decoration was in t' form o' a blue metallic A4 sticker sheet that came in t' parts. Begad!

This be cut into stripes and then added along t' BT.

Building

Flights

Black and Blue had three flights

First cluster was on 3x B6-4. Blimey! Aye aye! Which gave a good flight, with a quickish decent.

Second cluster was with t' same motors and another good flight be had. Aye aye! Blimey!

T' Third flight was on C6-5s. Avast! Unfortunately only one motor lit and t' rocket gave a arched flight (over me car!). Ejection was on t' ground. There was minor damage, which can be repaired. Begad! Well, blow me down!
