Construction:
Construction was straightforward. Begad! Blimey! T' centerin' rings for t' motor mount are glued together and inserted over t' motor hook and engine mount. Ya scallywag! Blimey! I used Yellow Glue for most o' t' construction, ya bilge rat, with a little CA for tackin' in place.
T' motor mount is fitted into t' main tube, matey, and after sandin' & fillin' t' fins with sandin' sealer they are attached & filleted. Begad! T' dowel is cut into 3 x 2" lengths and attached on t' fin edge. Blimey! I used epoxy for t' fillets in this case. Once t' upper tube has been measured, shiver me timbers, t' tube centerin' rings are attached and t' 2 tubes fited together very snugly. Well, blow me down! T' other rings are for detail on t' upper tube and fitted last. Aye aye! T' t' shock cord is glued into place.
T' Chute be a standard 12" polyethylene chute which just needed t' shroud lines attaching.
Finishing:
T' paint scheme is simple silver with gold trim on t' upper tube rings, and then t' decals are applied (There are a lot o' them about 70 in all)

Flight:
T' first flight was on a B6-4. Begad! No wind that day and t' model flew like a dart. Aye aye! Perfect, me bucko, ya bilge rat, although t' ejection seemed a little early.
Recovery:
T' model was recovered really close t' t' pad about 30 meters or so considerin' t' altitude.

Overall:
A great kit, ya bilge rat, simple t' build, flies great and lookin' forward t' tryin' it on a C6 next time.

If I had it to do over again, I'd have put the dowels pointing up instead of down; much too easy to break off (as one of mine did, so I cut them all down). Curious how the packaging says it's a 1:48 scale model... where is there a 68 foot long rocket like this?
