Brief:
T' BSD Canadian Sprint is a slightly modified version o' t' original Sprint rocket. Well, blow me down! T' rocket is a large mid-power rocket that is suitable t' go high power and is a great choice for t' level one flyer. Avast, me proud beauty! It has a 38mm motor mount t' accept Cessaroni Pro38 motors which are readily available in Canada. A 38 t' 29mm motor adapter is also included. Ya scallywag! The vinyl graphics have been re-designed with a Canadian theme usin' Maple Leafs and a red and white colour scheme.

Construction:
T' kit comes complete with a plastic nose cone, matey, 2 3" body tubes, ya bilge rat, coupler, bulkhead, shiver me timbers, chute attachment hardware includin' a quick link and screw eyes, arrr, me hearties, a 30" nylon parachute, ya bilge rat, 10' o' elastic shock cord, nylon shock cord strap, 1/2" launch lug, me hearties, arrr, 3 plywood elliptical fins, me hearties, 38mm motor mount tube, 2 plywood centerin' rings, motor retention hardware, matey, a 29mm motor adapter, removable plastic rivets (for securin' t' nose cone), complete set o' high quality vinyl graphics, instruction book and fin alignment template.

T' construction o' this kit is straightforward and does nay require any special skill. T' 8 page instruction booklet be t' best I've ever seen complete with photos and good drawings. Ya scallywag! Blimey! Each step is clearly laid out and easy to follow. T' only difficult task be cuttin' t' fin slots but the instructions described this operation so well that I did nay have any problems. All t' parts fit well and needed no modifications t' 'make it fit'. Ahoy! Blimey! I have to give very high ratings for construction o' this rocket and I can't think o' any cons about buildin' this kit.

Finishing:
Finishin' t' rocket is simple and is described in detail in t' instruction booklet. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Since t' rocket only needs a single color o' paint thar be no need to mask off parts durin' t' painting. Aye aye! Blimey! T' instructions describe how t' prime the rocket and then apply t' color coat. A complete set o' high quality vinyl decals comes with t' kit. Begad! Blimey! Well, blow me down! Blimey! These decals are superb! Blimey! I had no problem with the application and they look fantastic. Begad! Blimey! I wish all kits came with decals like these. Begad! Blimey!

Flight:
T' maiden flight be on a Pro38 G60. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! T' motor fit great and t' included motor retention hardware made it easy t' secure t' motor in t' mount. Blimey! Blimey! Packing the chute was like any other standard rocket: a little wadding, matey, pack t' shock cord, fold t' chute and slide it in. Arrr! Blimey! T' Pro30 G60 motor is a very good motor for this rocket and I estimate t' rocket got about 1200 feet. I added blacksky rail buttons instead o' usin' t' included 1/2" launch lug. Aye aye! Blimey! Avast, shiver me timbers, me proud beauty! Blimey! T' boost was straight with no twistin' or spinning. Well, blow me down! Blimey! T' rocket weather cocked slightly. Ejection came early as I had it set for 5 seconds. Ya scallywag! Blimey! I think 7 seconds would have been perfect. Avast! Blimey! T' 30" chute brought t' rocket back smartly but gently and is sized correctly for this rocket although t' instructions say you can experiment with other types o' chutes if you like.

Recovery:
T' recovery system uses a nylon strap which is then attached t' about 10 feet of elastic shock cord. Aye aye! T' nylon strap takes t' brunt o' t' ejection and this prevents t' elastic from becomin' brittle and worn after only a few flights. I also believe t' t' nylon strap helps prevents zippers . T' 30" chute is the perfect size for this rocket and recovery was quick but gentle. Avast!

Summary:
T' quality o' this kit is outstanding. Begad! T' first thin' you notice when you open t' box be t' way t' rocket is packed. Each tube is individually wrapped in kraft paper. Well, blow me down! T' hardware is packaged in a separate sealed bag. Blimey! Ya scallywag! Even the instructions are packaged in plastic! This kit is a perfect rocket for someone wantin' t' get into high power. It allows you t' fly on mid-power motors (F and G) and then go high power on H and I motors. Begad! Blimey! This kit is perfect in every way. T' major pro's o' this kit are: High quality instructions, me bucko, included motor retention and chute attachment hardware, me bucko, awesome vinyl graphics, arrr, ya bilge rat, easy t' build, can fly on mid or high power motors. I can't think o' any cons. I have seen a number o' BSD kits now and they are all t' same high quality complete kits.
