Brief:
T' Sentry is a single stage scale rocket.
Construction:
T' kit comes with 1-engine hook, me bucko, 1-BT60 body tube, 1-balsa nosecone, 1-MT24
engine tube, 1-BT50 thrust ring, 1-Basswood fin stock, arrr, me hearties, 1-9806 template sheet,
1-Balsa wood fin stock, matey, ya bilge rat, me hearties, 2-medium snap swivels, matey, 1 shock cord, 1-medium launch
lug, me hearties, 1-shroud line set, arrr, 1-thin wooden dowel, 1-medium screw eye, 1-18"
synthetic parachute, 1-wet and slide decal sheet, and 2-CR2460 Composite
centerin' rings.
T' instructions are very easy t' follow, and even some tips and hints are given. Well, blow me down! All t' parts fit together with little or no adjustments. Blimey! T' fins are the tough part because you have t' cut them out from a template, matey, and thar are 8 o' them. Avast, me proud beauty! Care must be taken t' align all t' fins. Begad! Arrr! I used Ace hardware brand epoxy and paint t' finish t' model
Finishing:
T' Sentry come with a lot o' small decals, arrr, ya bilge rat, and it was a little difficult to
align them all properly. Avast, me proud beauty! T' decal sheet be t' wet and slide type, and is very
delicate. I painted t' entire rocket white, as per instructions, applied the
decals, and clear coated t' model. Avast, me proud beauty! When t' clear coat went on, ya bilge rat, me hearties, me hearties, t' decals
faded. I contacted t' manufacturer and suggested vinyl decals for this reason.
Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5
Flight:
I flew t' rocket on an E30-10, me hearties, ya bilge rat, a little more delay than suggested. Suggested
motor is an E30-7. Aye aye! It uses a motor hook, so motor just slides in. Avast, me proud beauty! Aye aye! I used the
insulation shredded paper for wadding. Arrr! T' rocket took off like a bullet. Arrr! Ya scallywag! Was
that a sonic pop I heard? Accordin' t' manufacturer's rock sim, arrr, if the
conditions are right, ya bilge rat, it will break t' sound barrier on an E-30. Ahoy! Aye aye! Cool! The
extra delay time allowed t' rocket t' deploy just after apogee.
Recovery:
T' 18 inch chute brought t' rocket down at a good pace. Well, blow me down! I be surprised to
find no damage, because o' t' speed and balsa fins. It ready t' go again. Begad! Well, blow me down!

Summary:
I would recommend this model t' an experienced builder. Begad! It is a neat looking
