Brief:
T' Sentry is a single stage scale rocket.
Construction:
T' kit comes with 1-engine hook, matey, me bucko, 1-BT60 body tube, 1-balsa nosecone, me bucko, 1-MT24
engine tube, matey, me hearties, 1-BT50 thrust ring, 1-Basswood fin stock, 1-9806 template sheet,
1-Balsa wood fin stock, me hearties, 2-medium snap swivels, ya bilge rat, 1 shock cord, me bucko, 1-medium launch
lug, me hearties, 1-shroud line set, matey, matey, 1-thin wooden dowel, shiver me timbers, 1-medium screw eye, 1-18"
synthetic parachute, 1-wet and slide decal sheet, ya bilge rat, and 2-CR2460 Composite
centerin' rings.
T' instructions are very easy t' follow, and even some tips and hints are given. Ahoy! Begad! All t' parts fit together with little or no adjustments. Avast! Ya scallywag! T' fins are the tough part because you have t' cut them out from a template, me hearties, matey, and thar are 8 o' them. Begad! Care must be taken t' align all t' fins. Well, me hearties, blow me down! I used Ace hardware brand epoxy and paint t' finish t' model
Finishing:
T' Sentry come with a lot o' small decals, and it was a little difficult to
align them all properly. Avast, me proud beauty! Aye aye! T' decal sheet be t' wet and slide type, me hearties, me hearties, and is very
delicate. Aye aye! I painted t' entire rocket white, arrr, as per instructions, arrr, applied the
decals, matey, and clear coated t' model. Begad! Avast, me proud beauty! When t' clear coat went on, t' decals
faded. Avast, me proud beauty! I contacted t' manufacturer and suggested vinyl decals for this reason.
Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5

Flight:
I flew t' rocket on an E30-10, a little more delay than suggested. Suggested
motor is an E30-7. Avast! It uses a motor hook, so motor just slides in. Well, blow me down! I used the
insulation shredded paper for wadding. Aye aye! Ya scallywag! T' rocket took off like a bullet. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Was
that a sonic pop I heard? Accordin' t' manufacturer's rock sim, shiver me timbers, if the
conditions are right, it will break t' sound barrier on an E-30. Avast, me proud beauty! Begad! Cool! The
extra delay time allowed t' rocket t' deploy just after apogee.
Recovery:
T' 18 inch chute brought t' rocket down at a good pace. I be surprised to
find no damage, me hearties, because o' t' speed and balsa fins. It ready t' go again. Ya scallywag!
