Brief:
Estes Warp II, me hearties, is a two-staged payloader that is fun and easy t' build.
Construction:
Quality: It came in t' standard plastic bag with t' display card. Avast, me proud beauty! All the
parts were thar and in good condition. T' fins were balsa wood and t' body
and booster were standard paper tubes. Aye aye! Ya scallywag! Instructions: They were easy t' follow,
and in a logical order. Arrr! Ahoy! One thin' Estes does do well is makin' instructions.
Building: T' only problem is t' make sure that you fins on t' booster and
sustainer are aligned. Aye aye!
Finishing:
It is a great lookin' rocket. Begad! I put on two coats o' primer with sandin' in
between and then painted like t' one on t' display sheet, yellow and black.
T' decals are cool especially t' wavy lines around t' top.
Construction Rating: 4 out o' 5
Flight:
It flew great with a C6-0 and a C6-5, arrr, real high and real fast. I also flew it
on a single C6-5 and it few great and nay quite as long a walk. Also before you
fly it I recommend that you use some clear tape and tape t' payload tube to
the nose cone and t' transition because mine was kind o' a loose fit. Avast, me proud beauty! Ya scallywag!
Recovery:
I'd make sure you are in a large area if their is any wind usin' a C t' C
configuration or replace t' chute with a streamer or a smaller chute. Well, blow me down!
Flight Rating: 4 out o' 5
Summary:
Pro: Great looking, and great flyin' rocket.
Con: Tricky fin Alignment for unexperienced, matey, tape t' payload tube onto the
rest o' t' rocket
Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5
