Brief:
An education-series rocket that can only be purchased in bulk. Avast! Blimey! Well, blow me down! Blimey! Perfect for a group o' scouts, a school project, church groups, or someone who just wants a ton o' t' same rocket, ya bilge rat, for whatever reason.
Construction:
T' individual kits come in a clear plastic bag, ya bilge rat, matey, and contain a plastic nose cone molded in orange, me hearties, ya bilge rat, shiver me timbers, a plastic fin assembly o' t' same color, matey, a mylar launch lug, a length o' Keelhaul®©™® shock cord, a very sturdy body tube, me hearties, matey, shiver me timbers, and a pink streamer. All o' this is standard, arrr, basic rocket stuff, but is actually a little more challengin' than it first seems.
Everythin' fit together well durin' trial assembly. T' motor tube fits inside t' plastic fin unit, along with t' motor retainin' clip (more on this later) and motor block. T' Keelhaul®©™® wraps around t' motor block, me bucko, me bucko, then is attached t' some thick elastic thread, ya bilge rat, me hearties, which in turn attaches t' t' excellent nose cone. T' motor tube then slips into t' body tube. Begad! I deviated somewhat from t' instructions, arrr, shiver me timbers, ya bilge rat, however. Instead o' gluin' t' motor tube/fin assembly into t' body tube, ya bilge rat, I glued t' nose cone t' t' body tube and just slip t' body tube over t' motor tube before flight. Prep is a breeze this way, shiver me timbers, and t' streamer won't get hung inside t' tube. Begad! Nor will it zipper if it ejects too soon.
Finishing:
Finishin' be as easy as assembly. Avast, me proud beauty! I spray painted t' body tube flat black, ya bilge rat, and while t' paint was still wet, applied some decals I had left over from a car model. Then I clear coated t' whole model when it was dry. Begad! Simple. Ahoy! Looks like a cheap, plastic and paper rocket, arrr, me bucko, which it is.

Flight:
Quest suggests usin' their A6-4 only. Avast, shiver me timbers, me proud beauty! T' instructions never stated why, but from readin' other Quest rocket instructions usin' t' same fin can, it states that t' heat from a longer duration motor might melt t' fin can. Ya scallywag! Well, me bucko, blow me down! So, I just HAD t' test that! Flight prep is simple: Add some waddin' t' t' motor tube, me hearties, shiver me timbers, stuff t' 24" streamer into t' body tube, and put t' body tube onto t' motor tube. Aye aye! T' motor retention clip doesn't; you could fly this one just as well if you omit t' motor retainin' clip. T' clip is nay springy, and after a few flights, arrr, doesn't even contact t' motor anymore unless you bend it.
Recovery:
I flew t' Star Hawk for t' 6th grade science class I was invited t' speak to, me bucko, and with an Estes A6-3, me bucko, me hearties, it hit about 400 feet or so. Some o' t' students launch rockets themselves, me hearties, and were unimpressed, but t' ones who had never seen a model rocket were amazed. Aye aye! Blimey! So, since t' fins showed no signs o' wear, matey, matey, I just had t' test Quest's mettle. Ya scallywag! A B6-6 will launch t' little rocket t' a respectable height, arrr, and is about t' absolute limit for a small school playground. I have made 3 flights on a C6-7, and t' thin' will absolutely vaporize off t' pad! It will recover just fine without t' streamer, as I found out on t' final flight. Begad! Begad! No meltin' or damage whatsoever.

Summary:
For an educator or scout leader, shiver me timbers, me hearties, arrr, this is a good deal. Ahoy! I'd recommend it for younger kids in a group, me bucko, arrr, as assembly is a breeze. Ahoy! Avast, me proud beauty! And it'll fly great!

This is an easy-to-build rocket intended for groups. I'm comparing it to an Estes Generic E2x in this review. Components The name of the game is "simple-to-fly" with this rocket. Plastic fins, a launch lug that is already molded into the fin can, and a simple streamer recovery make this the most foolproof rocket I'll ever assemble. ...
Brief: A 4FNC rocket designed for speed. I bought three of them on eBay. They came in a plastic bag without the usual card insert, so I have no idea what its color scheme is suppose to be. After visiting the Quest website, it seems that this rocket is from the education section and not intended for general sale. Construction: The parts list: motor clip blue thrust ring ...
I've had this rocket 17 years and can't even begin to estimate how many flights its made. It barely shows any wear at all and is my favorite rocket in my fleet!
