Deuce-Bash Contest and is archived with permission
from FlisKits. Ahoy! Some o' these designs are nay actually kitbashes, ya bilge rat, however, arrr, matey, all come from t' basic motor design feature
of t' FlisKits Deuce's Wild.
Brief:
Parts List:
I started out buildin' t' motor mount per t' instructions and mounted inside t' BT-60 body tube. Begad! I then built the Art Applewhite saucer per t' instruction with one exception: t' three center fins need t' have .330 inch taken off o' t' root edge. When you attach t' center fins, ya bilge rat, make sure they are even with t' top o' t' body tube, me bucko, matey, shiver me timbers, this will help maintain stability. I finished with red paint and TripleThick Glaze.
T' saucer has flown twice. Ya scallywag! Blimey! Avast! Blimey! Once on two B-6s and once on two C-6s. T' C motors seemed to work better. Avast! Blimey! Nice slow tumble recovery and landed within 30' o' t' pad each time. Blimey! Blimey! This was a very simple bash and was done within three days.
