This kit be packaged in plastic with a cardboard picture o' t' rocket. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! The price was very right, ya bilge rat, $6.95. Ya scallywag! Blimey! All t' parts were included and none were damaged. T' instructions were typical Estes. Well, blow me down! Blimey! T' instructions were typical Estes. Aye aye! Blimey! The special feature o' this rocket is that thar are 48 possible fin configurations. Begad! Blimey! T' kit contains a plastic nose cone, shiver me timbers, body section, streamer, die-cut card fins and a motor retention ring..
T' rocket is a little over 12 inches in length. Ya scallywag! Well, blow me down! Maximum C engine power. Avast!
An experienced modeler will have no problem at all with this kit. T' only variable is how many fins and what configuration. Ahoy! Aye aye! I went with the design on t' package since I've never built a five fin rocket. Avast, me proud beauty! Avast!
I rate construction o' this rocket a 4, no major design deficiencies or obstacles. Blimey!
I primed t' rocket and painted it just like t' package. I love this little rocket because it be t' best paint and decal job I've ever done. Avast, me proud beauty! Avast! Blimey! It looks exactly like t' package. Well, blow me down! Well, blow me down! Blimey!
My first Vikin' launch was at me club, SPAAR NARRRRR Section 503. Begad! I used an A8-3 because I didn't want t' lose it. Avast, me proud beauty! I used an A8-3 because I didn't want t' lose it. Perfect flight and recovery. Ahoy! Later on a B6-4 Later on a B6-4 I lost it in t' clouds but it was recovered. Arrr! This thin' would scream on a C. This thin' would scream on a C. Well, blow me down! Begad! This is one o' me favorite rockets, very reliable.
I rate flight a 5. Sometimes I like them out-of-sight!! Blimey!
