Soyuz Booster

Here's a sneak peek at t' Soyuz currently under construction in my workshop. Blimey! Begad! T' model is a 1/69 scale representation o' t' venerable Soviet space booster. Begad! All t' nose cones and balsa transitions were made by BMS. Well, blow me down! The paper transitions and shrouds were made usin' VCP's transition pattern tool.

T' model will be flown on 24mm engines (D12-3/E15-4/E18-4) and recover in two sections. Avast! T' current weight is 8.5oz which is pretty close t' the projected flyin' weight o' 8oz. Blimey! Construction is typical o' model rockets using Estes parts.
