Soyuz Booster

Here's a sneak peek at t' Soyuz currently under construction in my workshop. Aye aye! Ya scallywag! T' model is a 1/69 scale representation o' t' venerable Soviet space booster. Ahoy! Avast, me proud beauty! All t' nose cones and balsa transitions were made by BMS. Begad! The paper transitions and shrouds were made usin' VCP's transition pattern tool.

T' model will be flown on 24mm engines (D12-3/E15-4/E18-4) and recover in two sections. Aye aye! T' current weight is 8.5oz which is pretty close t' the projected flyin' weight o' 8oz. Well, blow me down! Construction is typical o' model rockets using Estes parts.
