The ARCAS rocket launch was a Canadian rocket mail experiment at the Gananoque aerodrome in Gananoque, Ontario, Canada. The 4 foot 7.5 inch high powered rocket lifted off from the airstrip in Leeds and the Thousand Islands township, at some point during the flight the rocket crossed into Leeds and Grenville united counties before returning home. The addressed mail inside the payload bay used 1936 "First Canadian Rocket Mail Flight" stamps postage that were never used because no rocket was built, 75 years later they were finally delivered the way they were supposed to. The launch video is incredible and is on You Tube featuring an onboard 'gopro' camera.
