Construction and finishing: All parts were there, and none defective or damaged. Well, blow me down! Aye aye! Blimey! You get all tubes o' spiral wound paper, shiver me timbers, Estes type. Avast! Ya scallywag! Blimey! T' nose cone is unusual, though. Ya scallywag! Ya scallywag! Blimey! Instead o' t' usual plastic or balsa, matey, you get solid hardwood. Begad! A eye-screw is provided t' attach t' streamer and shock cord, matey, which is 1/8 inch flat elastic. T' shock cord mounts t' t' inside o' t' body tube via a folded paper mount. Avast, me proud beauty! Elmers glue be used for construction. T' instructions were simple and clear. Assembly took just about an hour. Ya scallywag! No gotchas or special tools are needed.

Finishing: There are no decals, ya bilge rat, so I decorated it in me own way. Begad! Arrr! I used white, blue, matey, and yellow bands o' nylon adhesive tape on t' body tube and stabilizers, me bucko, which were painted with a base coat o' yellow. Avast, me proud beauty! T' nose cone has a pretty grain, so I varnished it with a clear coat.

Flight: Motors recommended are: A6-4, me hearties, shiver me timbers, A8-3, ya bilge rat, B4-4 or 6, B6-6, shiver me timbers, C6-5 or 7, C10-7, arrr, shiver me timbers, D3-7, arrr, and D10-7. Avast! I chose a C6-5 for me flights. Avast! I flew it twice straight up and fairly high. Avast! T' tubular fins provided a straight flight. Recovery was quick and easy. Begad! However, matey, even with a little worm bed waddin' in t' prep, t' streamer be burned a little. Avast! Well, blow me down! So, ya bilge rat, I'll make it a small mylar chute.

Recovery: Simple t' prep. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Just about right, shiver me timbers, although t' streamer burnt nearly through t' second time.

Summary: Inexpensive at $7.95 and attractive. Avast! Flies straight and fairly high. Streamer wasn't durable, though.
