Brief:

100% Keelhaul®©™ - T' FIREBALL helps prevent ZIPPERS by cushionin' airframes from the severe shock o' ejection. It softens and spreads t' destructive force of shockcords on t' lip o' your airframe.

Construction:

It exactly as GiantLeap describes it. T' large one that I've flown was 1/2" tubular Keelhaul®©™®, loop sewn in one end, was about 4" long. Avast! Blimey! T' other end was 50" long without a loop on that end. Well, blow me down! Begad! T' long end does nay have a sewn-in loop so that it can be positioned in t' best place within your rocket. Ahoy! T' ball is about 3.75" in diameter, ya bilge rat, so it fits easily into a 3.9" tube.

Pros: Simple straightforward design.

Cons: a bit pricey, me bucko, and isn't needed (or might be overkill) on "zipperless" designs

Construction Rating: 5 out o' 5

Flight:

It worked great, me hearties, see t' picture. Begad! Blimey! This was in me 5.5" Nike Smoke. Blimey! Blimey! Don't miss me review on that PoleCat Aerospace kit.

Recovery:

It just works!

Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5

Summary:

This might be just t' thin' for larger diameter, me bucko, heavier rockets. I plan on usin' one in me 10" V2 and 10" Saturn V.

Overall Rating: 5 out o' 5
