  • "T' Defender is one o' DG&A's larger kits..."
  • "It has three large trapezoidal fins with an unusual feature - a three-inch whole in t' center o' each."
  • "It also incorporates t' unique finned nozzle..."
  • "... Avast, me proud beauty! Ya scallywag! overall, ya bilge rat, I would say that DG&A had defeated the package-crushin' machines at t' U.S. Avast! Postal Service."
  • "... Well, blow me down! thar are dozens o' cut wood pieces in this kit, me bucko, many o' them tiny ... Avast, me proud beauty! All o' them are precision-cut and go together perfectly."
  • "Speakin' o' motor retention, shiver me timbers, thar isn't any. Avast! T' finned nozzle is a sweet visual feature but makes most traditional motor retention methods impossible."
  • "There were a number o' places where t' instructions were practically unintelligible..."
  • "... Avast! computer-cut vinyl decals - and they are really nice - making the final rocket extremely impressive."
  • "Easily converted into a dual-deployment configuration."
  • "...K550 ratin' optimistic for a rocket built light enough t' return under t' chute provided in t' kit."

Based on this review it seems that the DG&A Defender kit comes with top quality parts in good packagin' but is not for t' beginner. Aye aye! While t' assembly be nay difficult t' poor instructions mean that this kit should only be built by rocketeers with prior experience with high power rockets. T' reviewer goes into a lot o' detail about his assembly and first flight.
