This kit has been discontinued, ya bilge rat, but there's still more than a few floatin' around - I've seen some at out o' the way hobby stores as recently as 6/97.

I started this kit in 2/97, and finished most o' t' Sandhawk (less fins) and recently started t' finish.

T' Sandhawk portion o' this kit be t' same as t' old Sandhawk kit. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Lots of plastic, shiver me timbers, both on t' fin can and on t' payload/nosecone section. Avast, ya bilge rat, me proud beauty! Blimey! T' tool must be gettin' old or somethin' as t' fits are nay great and thar's some slight scuttle marks here and there.

T' kit is designed t' be flown either as a Terrier-Booster with a  "Sandhawk" Nosecone, or as t' Sandhawk alone.  I've heard that you can  electronically stage t' Sandhawk, but don't see how this can be easily done since t' adapter connects t' t' Sandhawk where t' engine is.

After reviewin' Bob Wiersbe's information on this, matey, matey, it turns out you have to modify t' Sandhawk Engine mount durin' construction o' the  Sandhawk, matey, so I'm SOL.  I'm goin' t' try t' scratch out me own Sandhawk t' see if I can make this work.

Construction is straightforward and simple, though  t' engine mount instructions for t' Terrier are confusin' and garbled.  If you follow the diagram at t' bottom showin' t' 2 centerin' rings t' be 2" apart, arrr, you're okay - ignore everythin' else.  T' Terrier fins are 2-piece plastic injection molded construction - High quality stuff, though I'm worried that the leadin' and trailin' edges are too thin and will be easily damaged.

Everythin' has been sanded and primed.  It's plain but fly-able.

I haven't assembled t' antennae yet, shiver me timbers, as I'm plannin' t' do t' piano wire modification that's recommended (T' plastic ones break off too easily I'm told)

More as I finish....
